Dr. Sunir Joshi M.D., is a board-certified ophthalmologist that has been serving the south florida community since 2010. He co-founded Pinnacle Research Institute with Dr. Scott Schecter, due to a shared passion for medical research, and the development of novel sight saving, and life saving modalities. He has served as an investigator on dozens of clinical trials. Dr. Joshi graduated from Villanova University with Honors in 2 years. He went to medical school at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, and completed his ophthalmology residency at University of South Florida. Dr. Joshi also has a busy medical retina practice at South Florida Vision Associates, where he has served as medical director since 2014. He has served as faculty for the Larkin Community Hospital ophthalmology residency program. He particularly enjoys the cultural diversity of South Florida, where he gets the opportunity to care for patients from around the world.
